20% Of Human Genes Patented

Of course it's in the USA. Now I fail to understand how you can patent something you didn't event, just discovered. And even more, prevent someone from using his own natural genes to work the way they would. Just for greed...

If you consider that entire life forms (even thought they are only small microrganisms, for me one life counts just one no matter its size) are totally patented, and more important they are selled as "reagents" and not life beings... I started looking the insuline forniture with respect. I only hope the creator will never claims its patents ;)
